As a locally registered entity, CIM boasts of a dedicated team of over 100 staff and 200+ volunteers. The organization operates offices and programs that support more than 25,000 young people across different communities in Quezon City, Caloocan, Manila, and Calumpit, Bulacan.

About the role:

As the V olunteer Engagement and Support Lead - Child Path Scale-Up Implementation Project at Children International, Inc.', is a 2-year project-based role that play a pivotal role in driving the organization's volunteer program. In this contract position based in Quezon City Metro Manila, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, and supporting a dedicated team of volunteers to enhance the delivery of essential community services and development initiatives.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and implement effective volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies
2. Provide training and ongoing support to volunteers to ensure they are equipped to contribute meaningfully to the organization's objectives
3. Coordinate and oversee volunteer schedules, activities, and projects to ensure optimal utilization of volunteer resources
4. Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify volunteer opportunities and integrate volunteers into the organization's operations
6. Maintain detailed records and reporting on volunteer engagement metrics to drive continuous improvement
7. Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive volunteer culture within the organization

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in volunteer management or community engagement roles
2. Demonstrated success in designing and implementing volunteer recruitment, training, and retention programs
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with volunteers, staff, and stakeholders
4. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
5. Proficient in using volunteer management software and tools
6. Passionate about making a positive impact in the local community and supporting the mission of Children International, Inc.'
