Audit Associate (Remote -PH | Independent Contractor | US Hours)
Overview
We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Audit Associate based in PH to join a high-performing, US-based team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain international exposure while working remotely and building their career in a fast-paced, global environment.
In this role, you’ll support audit engagements, work closely with experienced professionals, and contribute to delivering high-quality financial insights. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with numbers, and being part of a collaborative team—this could be a strong fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support audit engagements from planning through completion
- Review and analyse financial statements to identify risks or inconsistencies
- Prepare audit workpapers and maintain accurate documentation
- Perform testing of internal controls and substantive audit procedures
- Collaborate with senior auditors and managers to meet deadlines
- Communicate findings clearly and professionally
- Stay updated on audit standards and best practices (US GAAP exposure is a plus)
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1–3 years of audit experience (public accounting experience is preferred)
- Strong understanding of audit processes and financial reporting
- High attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience working with US clients or standards is highly advantageous
Working Arrangement
- Location: Remote (PH-based candidates only)
- Hours: Must be available to work US business hours (required)
- Type: Independent contractor (this is not a traditional employment role)
- Setup: Reliable internet connection and a professional remote workspace required
