Duties and Responsibilities
- Operated delivery trucks to transport products to customers and assigned delivery locations.
- Loaded, unloaded, and inspected goods to ensure completeness and prevent damage during transit.
- Verified delivery orders, invoices, and related documents before and after deliveries.
- Ensured timely and accurate delivery of products according to scheduled routes.
- Collected payments and secured signed delivery receipts when required.
- Conducted routine vehicle inspections and reported maintenance or repair needs.
- Maintained cleanliness and roadworthiness of assigned vehicles.
- Followed traffic laws, safety regulations, and company transportation policies.
- Coordinated with warehouse personnel, dispatchers, and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Prepared and submitted delivery reports, trip logs, fuel consumption records, and other required documentation.
- Assisted in resolving delivery issues, discrepancies, and customer concerns.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or vocational graduate.
- Valid professional driver's license with the appropriate restriction/code for truck operation.
- Experience driving delivery trucks or commercial vehicles.
- Knowledge of traffic regulations and defensive driving practices.
- Physically fit and capable of loading and unloading products.
- Honest, reliable, and customer-service oriented.
- Familiarity with local routes and delivery areas.
