Senior Accounting Level/Supervisory Level

- Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service, and building trust through your accounting expertise and guidance.
- Assess financial processes and recommend improvements and tech-forward solutions.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting, including reconciliations, month-end entries, and record cleanup.
- Discuss financial results with clients and identify opportunities for growth.
- Manage workflow and timelines effectively.
- Mentor and review work of junior accountants and bookkeepers.
- Primary point of contact of External Auditors.
- Recommend process improvements for better financial reporting and workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with at least 5 years of experience in small to mid-size business accounting/bookkeeping
- Experienced in working with multiple clients simultaneously (CPA firm environment or similar)
- Expert knowledge in balance sheets preparation and reviewing financials records.
- Proficient in utilizing QuickBooks Online (QBO) whiz with applied experience, specifically within the past five years.
- Resourceful and able to explain complex financial concepts in a clear, approachable way.
- Advanced excel skills, advantage if with Macro experience
- Experience with internal or external audits
- Xero, Sage, SAP or other accounting system experience is a plus.
- Advanced tech-savvy skills
