Demand Planning and Inventory Control Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating demand planning, supply planning, importation activities, customer and store allocations, inventory availability, and delivery execution across three companies within the group.

This role aims to establish a consolidated and forward-looking view of demand and supply to ensure inventory availability, optimize stock levels, improve forecast accuracy, and support timely delivery of goods. The position will work closely with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Finance teams to align operational priorities, resolve supply and inventory discrepancies, and provide management with accurate and timely performance reports.

The successful candidate will establish standardized operating procedures, monitor key operational performance indicators, and drive continuous improvement in demand planning, inventory control, and supply chain efficiency across the group.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demand and Supply Planning: Develop and maintain consolidated demand and supply plans across three companies to ensure product availability and align forecasts with procurement requirements.
• Inventory Control and Allocation: Monitor inventory accuracy, stock levels, customer and store allocations, and warehouse availability to optimize inventory utilization.
• Importation and Delivery Monitoring: Coordinate importation schedules, shipment arrivals, and delivery follow-through to ensure timely fulfillment of customer and store requirements.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Finance to align demand forecasts, inventory requirements, and delivery commitments.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track key performance indicators, including forecast accuracy, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery, and provide management with regular performance updates.
• Exception Management: Maintain a daily exceptions list to identify and resolve shipment delays, stock shortages, allocation issues, and other operational concerns.
• Process Improvement and Leadership: Establish standardized operating procedures, improve supply chain efficiency, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the group.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field .
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, or related supply chain functions .
• At least 5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership position .
• Proven background in the retail, trading, and/or manufacturing industry .
• Knowledgeable in ERP systems such as Odoo and SAP .
• Strong understanding of demand forecasting, inventory control, importation coordination, stock allocation, and order fulfillment.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze operational data, identify performance gaps, and develop effective action plans.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments and business units.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
