SERVER CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and welcome guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Escort or assist guests to their assigned tables and provide menus as appropriate.
• Maintain a courteous and attentive demeanor throughout the guest’s dining experience.
• Answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, food preparation, and available beverages.
• Provide appropriate recommendations based on guests’ preferences and requests.
• Regularly check on guests to ensure satisfaction and promptly attend to their needs.
• Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally and immediately seek assistance from the supervisor or management when necessary.
• Maintain a high standard of hospitality and customer service at all times.

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Confirm special requests, dietary restrictions, food allergies, and other guest preferences.
• Enter orders correctly into the POS system or designated ordering system.
• Clearly communicate orders and special instructions to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Monitor the status of orders and coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely preparation and service.
• Verify that all food and beverages are complete, properly prepared, and presented according to Company standards before serving.
• 3. Food and Beverage Service
• Serve food and beverages promptly, professionally, and according to established service standards.
• Ensure proper table setup, presentation, and service procedures are followed.
• Check back with guests after serving to ensure that their orders meet expectations.
• Clear used plates, glasses, and utensils promptly and appropriately.
• Assist in maintaining proper table turnover while ensuring that service quality is not compromised.
• 4. Billing and Payment
• Prepare and present guest bills accurately.
• Process cash, credit/debit card, and other approved payment methods in accordance with Company procedures.
• Ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and properly accounted for.
• Coordinate with the cashier or supervisor regarding billing discrepancies, voids, discounts, or other payment concerns.
• 5. Side Duties and Work Area Maintenance
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned dining and service areas.
• Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, service stations, and other assigned areas.
• Restock utensils, condiments, napkins, glassware, and other service supplies as needed.
• Assist with basic food preparation or other operational tasks when assigned and when within the scope of the position.
• Properly handle and store service equipment and supplies.
• Assist other Food and Beverage team members when necessary to ensure smooth operations.
• 6. Food Safety and Health Standards
• Strictly observe applicable food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and occupational health and safety standards.
• Maintain proper personal hygiene and wear the required uniform and personal protective equipment when applicable.
• Properly handle food, beverages, utensils, and service equipment to prevent contamination.
• Immediately report food safety concerns, spills, accidents, damaged equipment, or other hazards to the supervisor.
• Follow the Company’s established sanitation and safety procedures at all times.
• 7. Teamwork and Operational Support
• Work closely with the kitchen, bar, cashier, Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments as necessary.
• Follow instructions and reasonable directions from the immediate supervisor or Department Head.
• Assist colleagues during peak operating periods to maintain efficient and timely service.
• Attend required briefings, training sessions, meetings, and other activities conducted by the Company.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities that may reasonably be assigned in support of the Company’s hospitality operations.
