About the role
We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help grow the business, build partnerships, and find new opportunities in the solar industry.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive company growth
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with corporate clients, developers, contractors, dealers, and financing partners
- Research market trends and identify new markets, products, and revenue opportunities
- Expand distribution channels by recruiting and managing dealers and resellers
- Generate and manage commercial, institutional, and government accounts
- Support major project negotiations and key account development
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify business opportunities
- Prepare business development reports and recommend strategies for continuous growth
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Entrepreneurship, or a related field
- At least 5-8 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Strategic Partnerships
- Licensed Electrical Engineer (required)
- Experience in the renewable energy, construction, distribution, or B2B industry is an advantage
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven track record in developing new markets, strategic partnerships, or corporate accounts
- Knowledge of strategic planning, market research, financial analysis, CRM systems, and proposal development
- Results-driven with strong business acumen and excellent communication skills
