Engineering and Maintenance Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Engineering and Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance and repair operations of all building facilities, ensuring functionality, safety, and regulatory compliance. This role combines leadership with technical expertise, requiring a hands-on supervisor who can troubleshoot building systems and provide actionable recommendations to management. The ideal candidate will have experience not only in engineering principles but also in practical building maintenance and facility troubleshooting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical), Architecture, or any related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility or building maintenance, engineering, or a similar supervisory role. Solid hands-on experience in building maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility systems. Knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, fire protection, generators, and other building services. Strong technical skills with the ability to diagnose and recommend practical solutions to management. Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, or any related design and engineering software. Excellent leadership, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills. Well-organized and can work with minimum supervision. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform under pressure. Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance. Committed to safety practices and compliance with relevant building and environmental codes. Willingness to work beyond official working schedule, including rest days, and emergencies as needed.
