NetSuite Functional Consultant (Part-Time)

Work Arrangement / Work Shift: Fully Remote / Part-Time (8:00 PM to 12:00 AM)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and analytical NetSuite Functional Consultant to lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of our NetSuite ERP platform. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand their business requirements, map them to NetSuite functionalities, and deliver tailored solutions. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of core NetSuite modules (Finance, CRM, Inventory, SRP), excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successful ERP implementations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Business Analysis & Scoping: Conduct discovery sessions with business stakeholders to understand existing processes, pain points, and future goals. Document detailed functional requirements and system design specifications.

• System Configuration: Configure and customize NetSuite to align with business processes, including setting up fields, forms, custom records, workflows (SuiteFlow), roles, permissions, and dashboards.

• Implementation & Migration: Lead or support full-lifecycle NetSuite implementations. Assist with data migration strategies, data cleansing, and mapping from legacy systems into NetSuite.

• Testing & Quality Assurance: Design and execute functional test plans, user acceptance testing (UAT) scripts, and regression testing to ensure system integrity and accuracy.

• Training & Change Management: Create user training documentation and conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure smooth system adoption.

• Support & Optimization: Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot functional issues, and recommend continuous improvements or new module adoptions to maximize ERP ROI.

What You’ll Need:

• Experience: 3–5+ years of experience as a NetSuite Functional Consultant, participating in multiple full-lifecycle NetSuite implementations.

• Module Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of core NetSuite modules, including NetSuite Financials (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets), Order Management, Procurement, and Inventory Management. (Experience with SuiteBilling, OneWorld, or SRP is a strong plus)

• Tools & Mechanics: Proficiency with SuiteFlow (Workflow Manager), saved searches, custom reports, and dashboard creation.

• Business Acumen: Strong understanding of general business processes, particularly in accounting, finance, supply chain, or manufacturing.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, project management, and interpersonal skills. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
  

What Will Set You Apart:

• Certifications: NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant or NetSuite Certified Financial User.

• Technical Familiarity: While this is a functional role, a basic understanding of NetSuite's technical architecture (SuiteScript, SuiteTalk) to collaborate effectively with developers is highly desirable.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
