Medical Contact Center Associate I

Fortrea seeks a Medical Contact Center Associate to handle incoming medical inquiries, adverse drug reactions, and product quality complaints via multiple communication channels. The role involves documenting safety data, executing pharmacovigilance processes, and maintaining high-quality information management in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and document medical information queries, product quality complaints, and general inquiries via phone, email, or fax
• Receive, record, and timely report adverse drug reactions according to regulations and internal procedures
• Execute drug safety data management processes including call intake, documentation, peer review, and case follow-up
• Perform quality control, data reconciliation across sources, and track metrics for assigned activities
• Maintain responsibility for accuracy and quality of all processed safety data

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, life science, medical science, or related field plus 1-2 years safety experience
• 1-2 years documented experience processing adverse event reports and working within safety databases
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to manage inbound and outbound calls
• Knowledge of pharmacovigilance best practices, ICH GCP guidelines, and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and high attention to detail
• Ability to analyze and synthesize medical information independently with moderate supervision
