Construction Manager

Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee construction activities throughout the pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases.
- Evaluate and recommend contractors based on cost, quality, reliability, and project capability.
- Conduct site assessments, measurements, technical evaluations, and preparation of plans and required permits.
- Facilitate bidding processes, including pre-bid meetings, bid evaluation, and contractor coordination.
- Manage project execution to ensure timely completion, quality standards, and budget compliance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations, building codes, permits,
- Develop and maintain construction standards, specifications, and material guidelines.
- Manage the accreditation and performance of contractors and suppliers.
- Coordinate store-related construction concerns with internal stakeholders and lessors.
- Prepare cost analyses and recommendations for project awards.
- Monitor project budgets, expenses, and billing requests.
- Oversee store renovations, repairs, maintenance, and closure projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in site evaluation, planning, and construction project management.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant supervisory or managerial experience.
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and government compliance requirements.
- Experience in managing permits, licenses, and coordination with regulatory authorities.
- Ability to manage construction timelines, budgets, and project execution.
- Knowledge of cost analysis, budgeting, and project financial monitoring.
- Experience working with contractors, suppliers, and other external stakeholders.
- Ability to ensure quality standards and compliance throughout project implementation.
- Licensed Architect or Engineer is an advantage.
- Experience in store fit-out, renovation, maintenance, and closure projects is an advantage.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
- Must have experience in F&B, FMCG, or food retail industry.
