We spend $1.2M+ per month on Meta , and some of our top-performing cartoon creatives have individually generated $200K+ in ad spend . We're looking for elite editors capable of producing creative at that level.

Job Snapshot

We're looking for an exceptional Direct Response Video Editor who is highly skilled in at least one of two areas:

1. High-Converting VSL Editing

2. High-Performance Cartoon / Animated Ads

We're not looking for generalist video editors. We want performance creatives capable of scaling to significant spend.

For VSLs, think clear, organic direct-response storytelling with real B-roll, strong captions, simple visual explanations, and realistic AI characters used strategically.

For cartoon ads, we're looking for dynamic animation, excellent lip syncing, creative visual storytelling, cartoon song ads, and the ability to turn every line of a script into a compelling visual.

The Two Editor Profiles

You don't need to be world-class at both, but you should be exceptional at one.

? Profile 1: Elite VSL Editor

You should be able to:

• Create clear, conversion-focused VSLs.
• Use realistic AI characters naturally.
• Blend AI presenters with real-world B-roll.
• Build clear caption systems.
• Create listicle structures such as #1, #2, #3.
• Match visuals precisely to spoken messaging.
• Use visual demonstrations to simplify complex ideas.
• Maintain attention throughout longer-form videos.
• Keep editing organic, credible, and easy to understand.
• Know when not to use AI imagery or unnecessary effects.

The strongest VSLs should feel real, trustworthy, simple, and extremely clear.

? Profile 2: Elite Cartoon / Animated Ad Editor

You should be able to create:

• High-quality cartoon performance ads.
• Cartoon song ads.
• Long-form animated creative.
• Realistic and accurate lip syncing.
• Dynamic animated scenes.
• Strong character movement and expressions.
• Creative visual metaphors.
• Visuals that directly match the script.
• Engaging transitions and effects.
• Professionally synchronized music, vocals, dialogue, and visuals.

Every line should have a deliberate visual idea behind it.

Our benchmark is high: existing cartoon creatives in this style have spent $200K+ per ad.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Edit high-performing VSLs and/or cartoon ads for paid social.
• Turn scripts into clear, compelling visual stories.
• Match visuals closely with spoken messaging.
• Source and integrate relevant real-world B-roll.
• Create realistic AI-assisted creative where appropriate.
• Produce captions, motion graphics, animations, and visual explanations.
• Create polished cartoon sequences and accurate lip syncing where required.
• Edit cartoon song ads with precise timing and audio synchronization.
• Collaborate with creative strategists and the performance marketing team.
• Implement feedback quickly without repeating mistakes.
• Study winning creatives and continuously improve your editing.
• Maintain high quality while working efficiently.

You’ll succeed if your videos:

• Hold attention.
• Make the message extremely easy to understand.
• Match visuals perfectly with the script.
• Feel organic rather than overproduced.
• Maintain strong pacing and retention.
• Can be tested and scaled through paid social.
• Reach the quality level of existing winning ads.
• Require minimal correction or hand-holding.

Ultimately, we want editors capable of creating the next $100K–$200K+ spending creative.

Required Experience

You should have:

• A strong portfolio of direct-response ads.
• Advanced video editing skills.
• Experience editing for paid social.
• Strong understanding of hooks, retention, pacing, and conversion.
• Excellent visual storytelling ability.
• Ability to translate spoken lines into clear visuals.
• Experience in fast-moving performance marketing environments.
• Ability to receive feedback quickly and improve without ego.

You must demonstrate advanced ability in at least one of:

VSL Editing

• Long-form direct-response VSLs.
• Organic direct-response editing.
• Real B-roll integration.
• AI presenters / AI characters.
• Clear captions and visual explanations.

OR

Cartoon / Animation Editing

• Cartoon performance ads.
• Character animation.
• Advanced lip syncing.
• Cartoon song ads.
• Long-form animated creative.
• Strong audio/visual synchronization.

A generic editing portfolio will not be enough. We want examples closely matching the creative we're producing.

Tools & Environment

Depending on your workflow, you may use:

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• After Effects
• CapCut
• DaVinci Resolve
• AI video / character generation tools
• AI lip-syncing and animation tools
• AI voice and music tools
• Frame.io
• Google Drive
• Slack
• ClickUp

We're less concerned about which tools you use than the quality of the final output.
