What You’ll Be Owning

This is a core technical leadership role covering database structures, secure order routing, and payment integrations. You aren't just writing simple API endpoints; you are organizing distributed web architecture in a modern way—mastering state management, relational database optimizations, webhooks, and multi-sided platform logic to frame a flawless checkout experience.

You’ll take the lead on:

• Live Platform Evolution: Seamlessly maintaining, refactoring, and improving an already functioning live React/Next.js and Node.js application.
  

• Founder-Led Implementation: Connecting and refining front-end user concepts built through creative "vibe coding," ensuring they are properly coupled with a robust backend.
  

• End-to-End Feature Delivery: Owning the complete lifecycle of new features across checkout dashboards, admin tools, and creator/affiliate workflows.
  

• Fintech & Payout Management: Enhancing and securing the platform's monetary engine utilizing Stripe and Stripe Connect integrations.
  

• E-commerce & Logistics Operations: Improving order routing systems, retailer inventory syncs, data analytics reporting, and fulfillment tracking.
  

• Engineering Excellence: Cleaning up technical debt, authoring documentation, establishing QA best practices, and ensuring maximum server deployment reliability.
  

Requirements

This Role Is a Great Fit If You:

• Are a Systems Architect: You have an exceptional ability to step into an existing live production codebase, diagnose technical layout inefficiencies, and improve them without breaking active dependencies.
  

• Are a Full-Stack Hybrid: You are equally comfortable troubleshooting complex query joins in PostgreSQL as you are crafting slick user interfaces in Next.js.
  

• Are a Pragmatic, Ship-First Operator: You know how to move exceptionally fast while keeping software stable, choosing practical delivery over over-engineered abstractions.
  

• Have 6–8 years of experience as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Lead Engineer, or Architect-level builder, preferably with a background in e-commerce, marketplaces, or fintech.
  

• Possess hands-on experience configuring and scaling complex payment flows via Stripe, Stripe Connect, or similar multi-merchant checkout systems.
  

• Are High-Accountability: You don't need to be chased for updates. You proactively communicate engineering progress, call out technical tradeoffs, and provide visibility into delivery timelines.
  

• Communicate with elite fluency and professional confidence.
