Accounting Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial tasks and keep records accurate.
- Recording financial transactions, organizing accounting documents, and assisting in preparing financial reports.
- Reconcile daily sales from the point-of-sale (POS) system, check cash and other payments, and report any differences in sales or collections.
- Assists in processing supplier invoices, preparing payments, and recording customer payments.
- Track inventory, assist with stock counts, and support bank reconciliations.
- Ensures that financial records are organized, accurate, and properly maintained to support the smooth operation of the retail business.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax filings.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS Accountancy
- At least 1 year experience in accounting (experience in the retail industry is a plus).
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
