About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Geodetic Engineer to support surveying, mapping, and Geographic Information System (GIS) activities. The role involves collecting, processing, analyzing, and validating geospatial data to ensure accurate mapping outputs and reliable project documentation.
Key responsibilities
Conduct land surveying, field data collection, and mapping activities
Process, analyze, and validate geospatial data using GIS and mapping software
Prepare maps, survey plans, technical reports, and other project documentation
Interpret survey data, coordinates, and geographic information to support project requirements
Ensure the accuracy, quality, and completeness of survey and mapping outputs
Coordinate with project teams and other stakeholders to meet project deliverables
Perform other related duties as assigned
About you
Bachelor's degree in Geodetic Engineering or a related field
Relevant experience in geodetic engineering, surveying, mapping, or GIS operations
Knowledge of GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS and other surveying or mapping tools
Familiarity with GPS/GNSS equipment, coordinate systems, and geospatial data processing is an advantage
Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to prepare accurate technical documentation
Fresh graduates with relevant training or internship experience may be considered
Licensed Geodetic Engineer is preferred, if required by the project
