The accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with tax laws, preparing financial statements, vouchers and supporting the company’s financial decision-making. This role plays a critical part in monitoring the company’s financial health and ensuring transparency in financial operations.
Responsibilities:
• Handle financial reporting, taxation, and auditing processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and government regulations.
• Manage payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation is an advantage
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of financial reporting and auditing standards
- Experience in conducting internal or external audits
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
- Experience in a public accounting firm or corporate finance department
- Proficient in accounting software, government benefits application (SSS, Pag-Ibig, etc.) and MS Office
