- Load and unload: Help load and unload packages and equipment onto the delivery vehicle
- Deliver: Deliver packages and equipment to customers
- Navigate: Help the driver navigate to delivery locations
- Inspect: Inspect packages and merchandise to ensure they are secure
- Record: Keep accurate records of deliveries, including any issues or complaints
- Communicate: Communicate with dispatch to update delivery status
- Provide service: Provide excellent customer service to customers
- Perform inspections: Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Install GPS: Install and operate GPS software to help the driver reach their destination
- Skills and qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50–100 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Customer service skills
- Valid driver's license (preferred)
- High school diploma (preferred)
