- Basic hardware assembly: Installing components like RAM, hard drives, CPU coolers, and expansion cards into computers and peripherals.
- System setup: Preparing workstations by connecting cables, installing operating systems, and configuring basic settings.
- Inventory management: Keeping track of hardware stock, receiving deliveries, and organizing components in the warehouse.
- Cleaning and maintenance: Cleaning computer components, cables, and workstations to ensure proper functionality.
- Packaging and shipping: Preparing hardware for shipment, including packing and labeling.
- Assisting with repairs: Providing basic support to technicians during hardware troubleshooting and repair processes.
- Data entry: Recording details about hardware repairs, inventory updates, and customer information.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving items.
- Willingness to learn new skills and assist with various tasks as needed.
- Basic computer knowledge: Familiarity with computer components and their functions.
- Hand-eye coordination: Ability to carefully handle small parts and tools.
- Attention to detail: Precisely following instructions and identifying potential issues.
