Finance Specialist (Davao)

1. Billing and Invoicing

• Prepare, review, and process billing statements, invoices, and supporting documents.

• Validate billing details against delivery records, transaction documents, and approved rates.

• Ensure accurate and timely submission of billings.

• Coordinate with internal departments and clients to address and resolve billing discrepancies.

2. Collections and Accounts Receivable

• Monitor customer accounts, outstanding balances, and accounts receivable.

• Conduct timely collection follow-ups and coordinate with clients regarding overdue payments.

• Record, track, and reconcile collections and payment transactions.

• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.

• Prepare collection reports and monitor the status of outstanding receivables.

3. Countering and Financial Transactions

• Handle countering activities, including the verification of invoices, payment receipts, and supporting documents.

• Validate transaction records against actual collections and recorded payments.

• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation of financial transactions.

• Identify discrepancies and coordinate with concerned personnel for timely resolution.

4. Financial Reporting and Reconciliation

• Prepare accurate and timely reports on billing, collections, and accounts receivable.

• Perform regular reconciliation of financial records and transactions.

• Assist in monitoring operating expenses and identifying financial discrepancies.

• Maintain organized, accurate, and audit-ready financial records.

5. Compliance and Internal Controls

• Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and internal control standards.

• Maintain the confidentiality, security, and proper safekeeping of financial records and documents.

• Perform other finance-related functions as may be assigned by management.

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, or any accounting-related course .

• Preferably with relevant experience in billing, collections, accounts receivable, countering, or general accounting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant computer applications.

• Strong numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, trustworthy, and capable of meeting deadlines.

• Good interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.

• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Fresh graduates with strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply!
