The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-performing, leadership-driven Senior Account Manager to drive client retention, revenue growth, and team excellence. Working closely with the Account Director, you will manage high-value client relationships, build an effective sales culture, and lead a dedicated account management team.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Client Retention: Retain and expand client revenue, with a focus on Platinum and Gold client segments. Build strong relationships, anticipate client needs, and manage the end-to-end sales process.
Team Leadership & Development: Build a transparent, high-performing sales culture. Actively lead, recruit, induct, and retain top talent; run performance review processes, establish individual development plans, and deliver regular coaching and training.
Team Operations & Pipeline Management: Oversee the team’s sales opportunities and pipeline in Salesforce. Track sales activity, market insights, and client mapping while ensuring monthly product targets and campaign goals are met.
Service Excellence & Resolution: Maintain exceptional service levels through regular audits, client feedback, and swift issue resolution. Partner with operational teams to enhance overall client experience and service value.
Culture & Leadership: Champion Isentia’s values, foster cross-departmental collaboration, and provide regular forums to celebrate achievements, share client insights, and address team concerns.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Extensive background in Account Management or Client Relationship roles within Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Marketing, or Advertising.
Team Management: Proven experience managing, coaching, and leading high-performance teams, with a strong focus on talent development and performance management.
Education & Skills: Tertiary qualifications with a high level of research, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office, database management, and Salesforce (pipeline, activity tracking, and account mapping); quick to adapt to new technology.
Communication & Presentation: Excellent written and oral English communication skills, with outstanding presentation and proposal writing abilities.
Attributes: Strong business acumen, self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a positive, collaborative attitude.
