- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student needs.
- Teach students in a clear and engaging manner, using a variety of instructional methods.
- Monitor and assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve academically.
- Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behavior.
- Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administration to improve educational practices.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive environment that accommodates diverse learning styles and needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area.
- State certification or licensure to teach at the high school level.
- Proven experience in teaching and classroom management.
- Strong knowledge of the subject area and curriculum standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students in the learning process.
- Organizational skills to plan lessons and manage administrative tasks.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and improving teaching practices.
