Mechanical Engineer (Engine Room Technician)

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Preferably a Licensed Mechanical Engineer (RME/PME).
- Experience in maintenance, equipment, or mechanical operations is an advantage.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and troubleshooting.
- Willing to work on-site and in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work flexible hours, if required.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, depending on the position requirements.
- Equipment Operation & Monitoring: Start up, monitor, and shut down auxiliary boilers, propulsion engines, generators, pumps, and compressors.
- Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventive maintenance, routine lubrication, troubleshooting, and hands-on mechanical repairs.
- System Management: Oversee fuel oil, cooling water, and lube oil systems, including transfers and purifications.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow international power plant safety standards, environmental/pollution regulations, and participate in emergency drills.
- Logging & Inventory: Record operational readings, track equipment performance trends, and manage spare parts inventory.
- Problem-solving abilities to quickly fix mechanical breakdowns.
- Teamwork to assist senior engineers and cooperate with others.
- Physical fitness to work in tight spaces and demanding environments.
