Mining Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
- Shall be an integral member of the operations team that will oversee the development and completion of the project
- Supervises mine development and maintenance activities (e.g. road, stockyard, pier yard, causeway, environmental structures development, etc.)
- Organizing, monitoring and prioritizing tasks to meet targets
- Maximize utilization and cost-effectiveness of equipment
- Ensures compliance with safety and professional standards within the mine site
- Conducts regular toolbox meetings/peptalks with the team to detect and resolve operational, safety and personnel problems
- Maintains records of daily activities
- Performs any additional duties that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor
Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS Mining Engineering
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word & Excel)
- Must be able to work in an atmosphere that may contain dust and fumes from trucks
