The team you will be part of

The Social Commerce Team is a fast-growing team leading the way in livestream selling, short video content, and affiliate marketing across Southeast Asia. We work with top brands, combining creativity, data, and platform expertise to drive real commercial results. As part of Intrepid’s end-to-end eCommerce ecosystem, we gain broad exposure across operations, collaborate with cross-functional experts, and play a key role in shaping how brands connect with digital shoppers in real time.

The part you will play

We are seeking a creative Video Production Associate who will be responsible for ideating, developing, and executing social commerce video content (TikTok, Shopee Live) that drives brand awareness, engagement, impressions, and revenue. In addition to staying on the pulse of social and digital trends, this role operates as a technical specialist—managing camera setups, audio synchronization, file workflows, and offline editorial assemblies.

As a Video Production Associate, you will be in charge of:

• Production Operations: Set up and operate mirrorless camera systems (Sony A7S III, A7 IV, etc.), continuous LED lighting arrays, wireless microphones, and stabilizer gimbals for product demonstrations, model shoots, and studio captures.
• Technical Post-Production Assembly: Log raw footage, synchronize multi-camera audio tracks, execute proxy media workflows, and compile rough-cut assemblies in Adobe Premiere Pro/CapCut to keep post-production on schedule.
• High-Volume Editing Deliveries: Edit high-retention, short-form video assets utilizing established brand templates and pacing guidelines.
• Motion Graphics Integration: Utilize Adobe After Effects as an added benefit to design subtle, elegant motion typography, branded transitions, and lower-thirds that elevate the educational and promotional value of beauty and lifestyle assets.
• AI-generated Content: Proven experience incorporating Generative AI tools for both video and audio (e.g., Kling, Seedance, Gemini, Runway, Elevenlabs) into the creative workflow to accelerate storyboarding, visual concepting, and style-frame generation.
• Data Management & Archiving: Manage digital assets by offloading camera cards, organizing project folders, maintaining naming conventions, and archiving final masters for regional scalability.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain the studio's technical inventory, ensuring camera sensors, lenses, lights, and audio gear are calibrated and ready for daily production.

Requirements

What we are looking for - the ideal profile

• Experience: Minimum of 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in a digital agency, production house, or in-house e-commerce marketing team as a technical videographer or video editor.
• Portfolio Standards: A technical portfolio showcasing clean camera operations, product lighting, crisp audio capture, and well-paced social media video edits.
  Note: Personal vlogs, general lifestyle content, and influencer-style videos are not considered relevant.
• Software Toolset: Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is required. Basic competency in Adobe After Effects (for templates and basic text animations) and Photoshop is highly preferred.
• Hardware Operations: Practical knowledge of mirrorless camera setups (Sony A7 series or equivalent), wireless lavalier systems, and continuous LED panel configurations.
• Operational Discipline: A structured approach to data workflows, organized timeline structures, and the ability to maintain output speed within a high-volume content factory.
