Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable maintenance plumber to install, inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures. The role involves routine maintenance as well as handling emergency plumbing issues to ensure uninterrupted facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, valves, fittings, and fixtures
- Diagnose plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, and water pressure problems
- Perform preventive maintenance as per schedule
- Install and replace plumbing fixtures (taps, sinks, toilets, pumps, heaters, etc.)
- Ensure proper functioning of water supply and drainage systems
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls promptly
- Coordinate with maintenance and facility teams
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas safely
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance plumber
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and tools
- Ability to read basic drawings or layouts (preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces
Requirements:
- ITI / Trade Certification in Plumbing (preferred)
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or on-call duties
- Knowledge of safety practices and basic maintenance standards
