Librarian

St. Bernadette of Lourdes College is seeking a dedicated and organized Librarian to manage and oversee the school's library services and resources. The ideal candidate will foster a conducive learning environment by providing efficient library services to students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily library operations and services.
• Organize, classify, and maintain library resources and collections.
• Assist students and faculty in locating and accessing information resources.
• Develop and implement library programs and activities.
• Maintain accurate records of library materials and circulation.
• Ensure proper cataloging and preservation of library resources.
• Promote information literacy and encourage reading habits among students.
• Coordinate the acquisition of new books, journals, and digital resources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Library and Information Science (BLIS) or its equivalent.
• Must be a Licensed Librarian.
• Must possess a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science, Library Administration, Education, or a related field.
• Preferably with relevant experience in an academic library setting.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in library management systems and computer applications.
• Demonstrates commitment to academic excellence and quality service.
