We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Leader to lead a team of software developers in the design, development, and delivery of innovative software solutions. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise in embedded systems development, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate across multicultural and cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in software development with strong expertise in Embedded C++.

• Demonstrated experience leading and managing a small team of software developers.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Fluent Mandarin communication skills (spoken and written).

• English proficiency at CEFR C1 level or equivalent.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

• Experience working in Agile development environments.

• Open to traveling to China as required for business meetings, stakeholder engagements, project coordination, and team collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JavaScript development.

• Experience with ReactJS and modern front-end development frameworks.

• Familiarity with software architecture, system integration, and embedded systems design.

• Experience working with geographically distributed teams and international stakeholders.

How can you contribute to the team? 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small team of software developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

• Provide technical direction, architecture guidance, and code review support throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software applications using C++.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, customers, and engineering teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Manage project priorities, timelines, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.

• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including development processes, coding standards, and best practices.

• Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development activities for team members.

• Participate in technical planning, estimation, and strategic decision-making.

Work Schedule: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Manila Time
Type: Project-based (1-year project engagement, subject to extension)
