We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and people-oriented Employee Engagement Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fostering a positive and engaging work culture. You will help conceptualize and execute engagement initiatives, support internal communication campaigns, and contribute to building a connected and motivated workforce.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of employee engagement activities, such as wellness programs, team-building events, recognition initiatives, and culture-building campaigns.
- Support in crafting internal communications, surveys, newsletters, and event promotions.
- Help gather feedback and insights through surveys and focus group discussions to assess engagement levels and recommend improvements.
- Maintain and update employee engagement trackers, calendars, and documentation.
- Assist in organizing company-wide events such as town halls, employee onboarding sessions, and milestone celebrations.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to enhance workplace culture and employee experience.
- Support any ad hoc administrative tasks related to employee engagement or the broader HR team.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a college degree in any field and is currently enrolled and completing internship hours.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Creative mindset and genuine interest in workplace culture and employee wellbeing.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work well in a collaborative environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools; familiarity with Canva, Slack, or other collaboration platforms is a plus.
- Prior experience in school organizations or event planning is a plus but not required.
