Data Migration & Data Quality Analyst

Analyze and profile large datasets to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, duplicates, missing values, and anomalies.
Perform data cleansing, validation, transformation, and reconciliation activities to improve data accuracy and completeness.
Investigate complex data issues and recommend appropriate cleansing rules and corrective actions based on findings.
Analyze master data and transactional data to assess data quality and migration readiness.
Develop and execute SQL queries to extract, examine, validate, and reconcile data across relational databases.
Use Excel and other analytical tools to manipulate datasets, identify patterns, and document findings.
Support data mapping and source-to-target data analysis for ERP transformation initiatives.
Establish data quality checks and maintain traceability of data issues, cleansing decisions, and validation results.
Collaborate with business process owners, ERP functional teams, technical teams, vendors, and project stakeholders.
Provide recommendations and insights to support informed data cleansing and preparation decisions.
Must-Have Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Accounting, or a related field.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in data analysis, data quality, data cleansing, ERP implementation, or related areas.
Strong hands-on experience in data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
Experience analyzing large and complex datasets, including master data and transactional data.
Practical knowledge of SQL and relational databases, with the ability to independently investigate data issues.
Strong Excel skills, preferably advanced Excel functions and data analysis techniques.
Ability to assess inconsistent or incomplete records and make fact-based recommendations on data treatment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision.
Experience in large-scale ERP data migration projects, particularly involving complex transactional data.
Exposure to ERP implementation, ERP replacement, or legacy-system modernization initiatives.
Experience in insurance, financial services, brokerage, accounting, supply chain, or other transaction-intensive industries.
Familiarity with source-to-target mapping, ETL concepts, data migration methodologies, and master data management.
Experience with Power Query, Power BI, or Python for data analysis and cleansing.
Exposure to SQL Server, Oracle, other enterprise databases, ETL/data integration tools, or data profiling platforms.
