About the Role
We're looking for experienced Controllers in the Philippines to join our Controller Bench. This part-time opportunity involves supporting our U.S.-based clients with financial reporting, accounting operations, and financial process management as client needs arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Review financial statements, general ledger activity, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage or support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to resolve accounting issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of U.S. accounting experience , supporting U.S.-based clients.
- Experience as a Controller, Accounting Manager, or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, payroll and payroll tax, internal controls, A/P and A/R, and sales tax compliance.
- Experience with state registrations, SOP development, and accounting process improvements.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and accommodate U.S. time zones as needed.
- CPA license or equivalent professional qualification is a plus.
