Senior Accountant

This is a remote position.

Position Title: Senior Accountant
Work Set-up: Permanent Work From Home
Schedule: Mon- Fri , 7am – 3:30pm PHT (WA Holiday)
Salary: Php 100,000 – 130,000

The business is a CA firm, and it has a range of good-quality, complex clients.
This Senior position will be to assist with the very large client that is in Property
Development with several companies in preparing compliance work. So the applicant
must understand property development.

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR AN AU SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Your Responsibilities as a Senior Accountant would be:
•Prepare BAS / IAS returns
•Prepare P&L statements, balance sheets and depreciation schedules for business clients
•Prepare Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, superfunds
•Review client accounting records in MYOB, Quickbooks, Xero, etc. to provide accurate and timely management reports
•Providing assistance in relation to a range of taxation matters including FBT, CGT, income tax and GST
•Understand and Calculate Division 7 A loan calculations and minimum repayments
•Do current company searches and Dividend resolutions

Qualifications as a Senior Accountant would be:
•5 yrs + experience in tax compliance accounting for an AU Accounting Firm
•Efficient in completing work
•Experience with managing multiple clients
•Highly organized and detail-oriented
•Excellent communication skills
•To be able to read and understand the law
•Using Now Infinity software to do current ASIC coy searches and Dividend resolutions
•Must understand property development, including land subdivisions, the margin scheme for GST
•Software: MYOB AE, BGL 360, Now Infinity, and Document Manager
•Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, Suitefiles, FYI Docs
