HVAC Estimator / Mechanical Engineer

HVAC ESTIMATOR / MECHANICAL ENGINEER (Office-Based) – Urgent Hiring We are looking for a detail-oriented HVAC Estimator / Mechanical Engineer to join our team in an office-based role. This is an ASAP hiring position for someone who can support fast-paced project bidding and cost estimation for HVAC systems. Position: HVAC Estimator / Mechanical Engineer Work Setup: Office-based Start Date: Immediate / ASAP Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate HVAC system cost estimates for residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and tender documents Perform quantity take-offs for ducting, piping, equipment, and materials Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and quotations Assist in value engineering and cost optimization Collaborate with project managers and engineers during bid preparation Maintain updated cost databases and estimation tools Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Experience in HVAC estimation or mechanical construction (preferred) Strong understanding of HVAC systems, ducting, and piping works Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans Proficient in MS Excel and estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, PlanSwift, or similar) Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Preferred Skills: Experience in commercial HVAC projects Knowledge of local construction codes and standards Strong communication and coordination skills We Offer: Competitive salary (based on experience) Stable office-based work environment Opportunity to work on varied HVAC projects Immediate hiring for qualified candidates
