Data Engineer (Informatica)

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Informatica and other modern data integration tools.
- Develop and optimize Snowflake-based data solutions, including SQL development and performance tuning.
- Implement and manage Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks for automated and efficient data processing workflows.
- Build and maintain data models that support analytics and reporting requirements.
- Develop data transformation processes using SQL, Python, and cloud-native technologies.
- Collaborate with data analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and database performance.
- Utilize orchestration tools to automate scheduling and workflow management processes.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and security standards are maintained.
- Support cloud-based data initiatives across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
- Document technical processes, workflows, and data architecture standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
- Strong oral and written English communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with Informatica and ETL development methodologies.
- Extensive expertise in Snowflake SQL and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Snowflake performance tuning.
- Advanced SQL and Python programming skills.
- Strong understanding of data modeling principles and best practices.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with orchestration and workflow automation tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with modern ETL and data integration tools such as DBT, Fivetran, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
- Exposure to large-scale enterprise data platforms and analytics environments.
