Mainframe Developer Work Location: Makati City Work Setup: Onsite Prepare to have: Have expert knowledge. Certified or holds certification. With more than 10 years of experience. Required Skills: Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code to develop software applications or systems
- Develop or revise programs, prompts, or JCL procedures according to the objectives of the program specifications
- Perform code review
- Conduct unit testing
- Log and resolve defects
- Participate in root cause analysis
- Perform system documentation
- Do technical analysis and design.
- Prepare detailed design and technical specification from functional specifications .
- Prepare screen and report layouts.
- Prepare program specifications, database/file layouts, network configuration.
- Guide and train application developers
- May perform systems integration testing
- Prepare installation documents and the operations manual
- Perform quality assurance reviews
- Coordinate with other IT units and users during system implementation or on matters involving interfaces with other systems.
