Animal Production Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee daily operations of contract growing farms, ensuring proper feeding, medication, biosecurity, and waste management.
• Monitor hog population, inventory, mortality, transfers, and sales through daily and weekly reports.
• Coordinate feeding requisitions and liaise with suppliers on quality, quantity, and delivery concerns.
• Supervise farm personnel, including caretakers, drivers, and maintenance staff.
• Conduct regular farm visits to assess animal health, facility condition, and resource utilization.
• Work closely with the Veterinary team on health issues and disease prevention programs.
• Forecast hog availability and coordinate with Sales for timely market deployment.
• Ensure compliance with ASF-Free Status requirements, including quarterly blood collection.
• Review farm performance, KPIs, and costs, and recommend operational improvements.
• Assist in sourcing and evaluating new contract farms based on company standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in farm management.
• Must have relevant, hands-on experience in swine production and overall farm operations.
• Strong background in livestock care, biosecurity compliance, and operational reporting.
• High initiative, adaptability, and problem-solving skills in dynamic farm environments.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with farm management and staff.
• Immersion will be at Cebu, afterwards relocate to Luzon.
