- Install and configure fiber optic cables, modems, and related equipment.
- Conduct inspections and routine maintenance to ensure system functionality.
- Diagnose and repair technical issues in fiber optic networks.
- Perform signal testing and ensure proper connection quality.
- Educate customers on equipment use and basic troubleshooting.
- Adhere to safety standards and company protocols during installations and repairs.
- Knowledge of fiber optic systems and tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in outdoor and indoor environments.
- Physical stamina to handle equipment and climb poles or ladders.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., Fiber Optic Technician) preferred.
