- A Driver is responsible for operating a vehicle to transport goods, passengers, or materials safely and efficiently from one location to another.
- Drivers work in various industries, including transportation, delivery services, and logistics.
- They are expected to follow traffic laws, maintain the vehicle in good condition, and ensure that deliveries or rides are timely.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is generally required.
- Some positions may require additional qualifications, such as a commercial driver’s license (CDL) or other certifications depending on the vehicle type (e.g., for trucks, buses, or specialized equipment).
- Skills:
- Good driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Strong time-management skills to ensure deliveries or pick-ups are made on schedule.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and identify minor issues.
