- A Canteen Server is responsible for working in a cafeteria or canteen environment, serving food and beverages to customers, ensuring cleanliness, and maintaining efficient operations.
- Food Service: Serve food and drinks to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Ensure that meals are delivered accurately and timely.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their orders, answering questions about menu items, and addressing concerns or complaints.Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of food items, ensuring they are cooked, stored, and served according to health and safety standards.Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and service counters. Clean tables, trays, and utensils as required.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in food service, retail, or customer service is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light to moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
