We are looking for a proactive, creative Community Marketing & Outreach Specialist to join our team in a Remote capacity. This full-time role is perfect for someone who thrives on engaging in discussions and building trust within remote work and tech communities. You will play a crucial role in driving user acquisition through community building, social mentions, and content distribution in Tier 1 countries.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and engage in social media and messaging groups (Telegram, Facebook, Instagram) where remote workers and digital nomads interact, providing genuine assistance and organically mentioning online.jobs.
- Actively participate in Reddit and Quora , identifying relevant subreddits and spaces to contribute high-quality answers while naturally introducing online.jobs.
- Publish articles, listicles, and startup stories on platforms like HackerNoon , Medium , and Indie Hackers to enhance our content distribution efforts.
- Network within professional remote work and developer Slack channels and Discord servers to foster community relationships.
- Maintain detailed reports of all active threads, posts, and mentions, analyzing traffic and registrations through UTM links to track performance.
What You Bring
- Fluent/Native written English with excellent grammar and a conversational tone suitable for US/EU audiences.
- A minimum of 1+ years of experience in Community Marketing, Crowd Marketing, Forum Outreach, or Social Media Marketing (SMM).
- Platform expertise with a deep understanding of the rules, culture, and communication styles on Telegram, Facebook, Instagram, and Reddit.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to draft engaging comments and structure readable articles.
- Self-organized with the capability to manage your own time, build database pipelines (Google Sheets/Notion), and report on weekly metrics.
