Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Modeling: Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and operational insights.
- Dashboard & Reporting: Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards and KPI reports using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Metabase).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across business units to understand their analytics needs and translate requirements into technical metrics.
- Data Quality & Governance: Clean, validate, and audit data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems.
- SQL & Data Querying: Write efficient SQL queries to extract and aggregate data from relational databases and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, PostgreSQL).
- Ad-Hoc Business Intelligence: Conduct exploratory data analysis to answer urgent business questions and support product/strategy decisions.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence role.
- SQL Proficiency: Strong experience writing complex SQL queries (joins, subqueries, window functions, CTEs).
- Data Visualization: Hands-on experience creating interactive dashboards using tools like Power BI , Tableau , Looker , or Metabase .
- Spreadsheet Mastery: Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, logical functions).
- Communication: Ability to explain complex technical findings clearly to non-technical business partners.
