We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeping Accountant to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping and must be proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central . We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeping Accountant to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping and must be proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central . This role is essential in supporting our financial operations and ensuring accurate, timely financial records. Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payment runs accurately and on time.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations.
- Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to manage accounting data and workflows.
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant, ideally in a remote setting.
- Must be able to work the graveyard shift based on US Pacific Time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is required.
- Familiarity with U.S. GAAP or other applicable accounting standards.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Experience working with US accounting and businesses.
- Experience with payroll, sales tax, or inventory accounting is a plus.
- Fully remote; must have a reliable internet connection.
