- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine placement and installation of electrical components.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance with local regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion on time.
- Educational Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program preferred.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience in electrical work.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in electrical installations, wiring, and troubleshooting; knowledge of electric welding.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong problem-solving skills; attention to detail; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Working Conditions: Must be able to work in various settings including residential homes and construction sites; ability to lift heavy materials.
