Position Title: Barista

Position Summary
The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while delivering excellent customer service. This role ensures that every guest receives a warm, friendly, and memorable experience that reflects Magnolia Bakery’s standards of quality and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, and other beverages according to company standards
- Greet customers courteously and take orders accurately
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and POS systems properly
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of beverages
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar, equipment, and work area
- Handle cash and non-cash transactions accurately, when assigned
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and company policies at all times
- Assist in restocking supplies and monitoring inventory levels
- Address customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary
- Support opening and closing duties as required
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- With or without experience as a Barista (training will be provided)
- Knowledge of coffee preparation is an advantage
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude and passion for food and beverage service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
