- Prepare accurate financial statements and support month-end/year-end closing process.
- Administer accounts receivable/payable, cash flow management, and payroll preparation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company regulations.
- Maintain robust financial records and conduct regular audits.
- Provide strategic financial insights for budget forecasting.
- Liaise with stakeholders within Discovery Tour, Inc., optimizing financial practices for the hospitality and tourism sector.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience Level: Entry-level position; less than 1 year of experience required, with fresh graduates welcome to apply.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Billing, preparing Financial Statements, performing Reconciliations, managing Accounts Receivable, and generating Financial Reporting. Understanding of regulatory Compliance.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Maintain and update accounting records and files. Analyze budgets and create expense reports. Examine tax policies and handle tax payments and returns. Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger (e.g., assets, liabilities).
- Working Conditions: Office environment with standard working hours; may require overtime during peak financial periods.
- Qualities and Traits: Attention to detail, organization skills, commitment to accuracy, strong numerical proficiency, and ethical conduct. Excellent communication abilities and a teamwork mindset.
