Shift Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS : 

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering , Manufacturing Engineering , or any related engineering course . 
• At least 1-2 years of experience in production , manufacturing , or process engineering is preferred . Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds may also be considered . 
• Knowledge of production planning , process improvement , Lean Manufacturing , and productivity analysis . 
• Familiarity with GMP , HACCP , Food Safety , and Occupational Safety standards is an advantage . Proficient in Microsoft Office applications , particularly Excel . 
• Strong analytical , problem - solving , communication , and organizational skills .

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : 

A. Operational Functions 

• Monitor daily production operations to ensure the achievement of production schedules , output targets , and operational efficiency . 
• Analyze production processes and recommend improvements to increase productivity , reduce waste , and optimize resource utilization . 
• Monitor machine utilization , downtime , and production performance , and recommend corrective actions . 
• Coordinate with Production , Warehouse , Purchasing , Maintenance , and Quality Assurance to ensure uninterrupted production . 
• Assist in production planning , manpower allocation , line balancing , and capacity utilization . Support new product trials , process improvements , and equipment commissioning . 
• Ensure compliance with production specifications , quality standards , and operating procedures . 

B. Administrative Functions 

• Prepare and analyze production reports , efficiency reports , downtime analysis , and productivity metrics . 
• Maintain production records , process documentation , work instructions , and engineering data . 
• Monitor production KPIs and prepare recommendations for continuous improvement . Participate in production meetings and assist in implementing operational improvement projects . 

C. Compliance Functions 

• Ensure compliance with Company policies , GMP , HACCP , Halal , Food Safety , and Occupational Safety and Health ( OSH ) requirements . 
• Monitor adherence to standard operating procedures and engineering standards . 
• Assist during internal , customer , and regulatory audits and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions . 
• Promote safe work practices and report operational risks , equipment issues , and non- conformities .
