Location: Candidates must be able to reliably commute or be willing to relocate to the specific branch area.
About the Role
- Receiving & Unloading: Manually unloading glass shipments from the main warehouse. This requires a "soft touch" despite the heavy lifting.
- Inventory Coding: Organizing glass by car make (Toyota, Mitsubishi, etc.) and model year. You ensure every windshield has the correct sticker/barcode.
- Quality Inspection: Checking every incoming item for "factory defects" like bubbles, cracks, or scratches on the edges.
- Stock Pulling: When a customer buys a windshield, you are the one who carefully retrieves it from the "A-frame" racks and brings it to the technicians.
- Housekeeping: Keeping the warehouse area clean. Glass dust or shards are dangerous, so constant sweeping and organizing are part of the daily grind.
- Consumable Tracking: Monitoring "small stocks" like urethane (glue), rubber moldings, and wiper blades so the branch doesn't run out.
Qualifications
- Education: At least a High School Graduate (Old curriculum) or Senior High School Graduate.
- Physical Stature: Must be physically fit and have a steady grip. Since windshields are wide, having a good "reach" (arm span) is a big advantage.
- Experience: Experience in a warehouse, hardware store (like Ace or Wilcon), or auto supply is highly preferred.
- Skills: Must be able to read and write clearly to fill out Delivery Receipts (DR) and Stock Transfer Notes.
- Attitude: "Maingat" (Careful) is the #1 trait. You cannot be clumsy in this job.
- Math Skills: Basic counting skills for "Physical Inventory" counting stocks.
