Boiler Manager

Hiring: Boiler Manager Full Time - Onsite Ipil, Ormoc City Position Summary The Boiler Head is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, efficiency, and regulatory compliance of the boiler system. This role ensures uninterrupted steam supply to support production requirements while maintaining safety, environmental, and operational standards. The position also leads preventive maintenance planning, coordinates repairs, and drives continuous improvement initiatives within the boiler operations. Key Deliverables

• Ensure efficient, safe, and uninterrupted boiler operations.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for boiler operations.
• Prepare and execute preventive maintenance shutdown plans.
• Generate and submit daily and weekly boiler operation reports.
• Monitor boiler performance and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee daily boiler operations, ensuring all operating parameters are maintained within required standards.
• Coordinate steam production requirements with the Production Team to support manufacturing operations.
• Work closely with Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Teams, as well as third-party contractors, for repair and preventive maintenance activities.
• Supervise boiler water treatment programs and ensure optimal boiler performance.
• Manage rice hull fuel supply requirements and coordinate with suppliers to maintain operational continuity.
• Ensure smoke emissions remain within allowable environmental limits and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Head regarding smoke stack sampling and environmental compliance activities.
• Prepare operational, maintenance, and performance reports.
• Recommend and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental, and company operational standards.

Qualifications Education

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer is required.
• Professional Mechanical Engineer (PME) license is highly preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in boiler operations, maintenance, and management.
• Experience in a distillery, food manufacturing, beverage, or similar manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Proven experience handling biomass-fired or industrial boiler systems is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of industrial boiler operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning and execution.
• Understanding of environmental compliance requirements and emission control systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other related software applications.
• Knowledge of water treatment processes and boiler efficiency optimization.
