Learning And Development Specialist

Job Summary

The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration and coordination of learning and development programs. This role ensures smooth delivery of training initiatives, accurate maintenance of learning systems, and timely support for employees, facilitators, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in handling Learning Management Systems (LMS), employee support, and training operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Learning Administration

• Manage training schedules, course enrollments, and class setup in the Learning Management System (LMS)
• Coordinate virtual and classroom-based training sessions
• Send training invitations, reminders, and learning communications
• Monitor attendance, completion records, and certification status
• Support curriculum setup and learning program administration

LMS & System Support

• Maintain accurate learner records and training data
• Troubleshoot LMS-related concerns and course completion issues
• Provide first-level support for learners and facilitators
• Assist with system updates, reporting, and data validation

Stakeholder Coordination

• Communicate with employees, trainers, managers, and HR teams regarding training requirements
• Respond to learning-related inquiries and service requests
• Coordinate logistics such as room bookings, training materials, and virtual meeting setup

Reporting & Compliance

• Generate training reports and monitor learning completion metrics
• Ensure compliance with company learning policies and audit requirements
• Maintain documentation and records accurately and confidentially

Administrative Support

• Assist with invoice processing, approvals, and learning-related documentation
• Support additional HR or People Operations tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Education, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in Learning Operations, Learning & Development, or HR Operations
• Experience using LMS platforms, SAP SuccessFactors, or ServiceNow is an advantage
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
