As a Community Lead , you serve as the primary point of contact for our Community Ambassadors, offering administrative support across the organization while guiding and empowering your team. You'll demonstrate strong leadership skills to oversee daily office operations and manage a small team of 2 or more Community Ambassadors.
You'll also manage relationships with external vendors related to site operations and employee engagement. On the financial side, you'll be responsible for monthly financial reporting as well as contributing to budget planning. - First Point of Contact for Community Ambassadors:
- You will be handling a set of Community Ambassadors. This involves offering guidance, support, and clear communication to ensure they are well-equipped to fulfill their roles.
- Must be qualified as a Community Ambassador Trainer to onboard and mentor new CAs, ensuring consistent standards across the team.
- Administrative Support:
- You will be responsible for overseeing a range of administrative functions that support the smooth operation of the organization. This could include everything from managing schedules and supplies to ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Leadership skills are critical in this role as you'll oversee a small team (usually 2+ Community Ambassadors). This includes:
- Assigning tasks and ensuring they are completed effectively.
- Providing direction and guidance to maintain high standards of work.
- Monitoring the performance of your team members, giving feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Supporting the development and growth of your team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Leadership skills are critical in this role as you'll oversee a small team (usually 2+ Community Ambassadors). This includes:
- Vendor and Inter-Department Relationship Management:
- As the Community Lead, you'll also be in charge of managing relationships with external vendors, which may involve negotiating contracts, handling services for office management (such as maintenance, supplies, or events), and ensuring that vendor services align with the company's needs and standards.
- You will also partner and collaborate with other departments (especially the ones that are of the same business unit such as Facilities, Safety, and Security Team) for any initiative that drives efficiency.
- Financial Responsibility:
- Part of your role will include approving financial records like petty cash funds, handling purchase orders, and check requisitions. You may also be required to provide input during budget planning, ensuring that the budget reflects the needs of your team and community-related initiatives.
- Data and Program Management:
- Maintaining and updating client and program-related data using spreadsheets or database software. This data management ensures transparency, accuracy, and organization of essential information related to community activities and broader company programs.
