Accounting Assistant

Air Beyond Satisfaction Services Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and responsible Accounting Assistant to support the daily financial and accounting operations of the company. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing accounting documents, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist in preparing, recording, and encoding financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and disbursements.
2. Prepare, organize, and maintain invoices, official receipts, vouchers, purchase-related documents, and other accounting records.
3. Assist in bank reconciliation and monitoring company bank transactions to ensure accuracy.
4. Support the preparation of payroll reports, financial statements, and other accounting documents.
5. Monitor and update accounts payable and receivable records to ensure timely processing of payments and collections.
6. Maintain accurate and organized financial records, both physical and electronic, ensuring proper documentation and safekeeping.
7. Coordinate with the Purchasing Department, suppliers, and other departments regarding payment requests, billing discrepancies, and accounting concerns.
8. Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting documents for month-end and year-end closing activities.
9. Verify the accuracy and completeness of accounting documents before processing.
10. Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and applicable Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations.
11. Maintain confidentiality of financial records, company transactions, and other sensitive accounting information.
12. Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by the Accounting Head or management.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or any related course .
• Relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and general accounting procedures.
• Familiarity with BIR tax regulations and compliance is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel .
• Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Willing to work on-site.
